The Chlorinator Maintenance Course
covers: properties of chlorine,
purpose of chlorine, chlorine terminology, dosage calculations, chlorinator
equipment, chlorine cylinders, operation of gas chlorinators, start up and
shut down, chlorinator maintenance, troubleshooting common problems, chlorine
safety, and chlorine testing procedures.
Students should be prepared for class by bringing the following with them:
- Pencil with eraser
- Pen
- Calculator
- TCEQ License # or SSN
- Optional: Students may bring in their own chlorinator and spare parts to work on
