TRWA Scholarships

TRWA’s Student and Operator/Manager Scholarships were established to recognize outstanding and worthy students who are attending a public or private institution of higher learning or an approved TCEQ certification course. The Student Scholarship Program is designed to assist young people in the furthering their education by attending college. The Operator/Manager Scholarship Program is designed to assist water personnel in attending and completing an approved TRWA operator certification course.

The Scholarship Program is made possible by the voluntary contributions of our members. TRWA covers the administrative costs of the scholarship program so that 100 percent of the voluntary contributions go to funding education. If you have not already done so, please give to this fund when you renew your membership in 2010. To renew online, click here.

For the 2010-2011 school year, TRWA will award seven student scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. Eligibility is limited to the children, step children and grandchildren of employees or board members of TRWA member systems, as well as employees or board members of TRWA member systems. No applicant may receive a scholarship more than once. To download a student scholarship application, click here.
