TRWA’s Student and Operator/Manager Scholarships were established to recognize outstanding and worthy students who are attending a public or private institution of higher learning or an approved TCEQ certification course. The Student Scholarship Program is designed to assist young people in the furthering their education by attending college. The Operator/Manager Scholarship Program is designed to assist water personnel in attending and completing an approved TRWA operator certification course.

The Scholarship Program is made possible by the voluntary contributions of our members. TRWA covers the administrative costs of the scholarship program so that 100 percent of the voluntary contributions go to funding education.If you have not already done so, please give to this fund when you renew your membership in 2008. Due to the rising cost of education, the TRWA scholarship committee as increased the number and amount of student scholarships for 2008 from three scholarships in the amount of $1000 each to six scholarships in the amount of $1500 each. In addition, six operator/manager scholarships in the amount of $500 each will be awarded in 2008.
