I have always wanted to help people, and with water I have that ability. Everyone has to have water from the simple things of personal hygiene, to the seriousness of saving lives by putting out fires. I get personal satisfaction every day knowing I did my part to make sure the drinking water is safe by testing the chlorination to the conservation of water by finding and fixing leaks.

I already have my Class D license, Basic Waterworks Operation and Water Conservation Certifications. I'm working at getting my Class D license for wastewater within the next few months. I plan to register for Chlorination and Well and Pump Maintenance. Even though I have only a few years of experience being a water operator, my experience is valuable in all areas including problem solving and customer relations. I am eager to learn new things and have no limits on how far this career will take me.

I can relocate anywhere in the state of Texas. I am available for scheduled interviews with the ambition to pursue advancement and new responsibilities in my career. I am posting this to explore the opportunities available in this industry. I have been operating/maintaining a 20mgd surface water plant for about six years now. I worked in the distribution system of the same city for one year before transferring to the water plant. I like the position, management, and the people I work with. However, I have put a significant amount of time and effort into my continuing education and would like to put it to use. • One year working in water distribution and waste collection. Repaired/installed everything from ¾" water meters to 30" RCCP main lines.
• Six years in a 20mgd surface water plant
• Rebuild and repair most everything in the plant. Some examples:
• High Service pumps: 100-300 HP vertical turbine pumps

• Solenoids, actuators, etc.
