CSI & CCC is a comprehensive course covering the various elements necessary to become a licensed Customer Service Inspector. This 16-hour course can also be used for continuing education units (CEU) for renewal of the CSI, BPAT and Water licenses.  12 hours of CEUs have also been approved for the Wastewater, Irrigators, and Water Treatment Specialist licenses.

This course provides an in-depth review of the important aspects of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act, Texas state statutes and the TCEQ rules and regulations that relate to the prevention of contamination of public water supplies by cross-connections. The specific purposes of this training program are to develop an increased awareness of the potential problems and liabilities resulting from cross-connections and lead in public water systems; to provide specific information about the responsibilities of water system personnel and how to structure and implement an effective cross-connection and backflow prevention program.  The establishment of a protocol for the implementation of a CSI program is an essential element of this course.  The information is presented to prepare individuals with the technical knowledge to challenge the TCEQ examination for a CSI license.
